Elerinmosa Institute of Technology was established on 26th January 2017 under the Corporate Affairs Commission by Alhaji (Engr.) Hassan U. Alao. Its mission is to complement theoretical knowledge with practical skills, addressing a critical gap in Nigeria’s educational system. The institution offers courses, training, and research in various branches of technology, leading to National Vocational Certificate and National Diploma awards. It also collaborates with recognized professional bodies to provide quality technical training and certifications.
In 2019, the institution received full approval and accreditation from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), the Federal Ministry of Education, and other relevant councils, solidifying its status as a leader in technical education.
Now located at its permanent site in Oke Awesin Area, Erin-Osun, Osun State, the institute operates in a secure and serene environment, meeting the requirements for its academic programs. Recognized among polytechnics and colleges in Nigeria, Elerinmosa Institute of Technology is approved by the Federal Ministry of Education, JAMB, Industrial Trust Fund (for SIWES), NBTE, and several other accrediting bodies.
